Marco Matteucci CA(SA)

Marco graduated from the University of Pretoria and went on to become a chartered accountant, honing his skills and expertise over the years.

He began his career at Deloitte, where he served his articles and moved into the position of manager by 2011. Marco transitioned to the world of private equity, joining Tiso Blackstar in 2012. Marco played a pivotal role in various aspects of the business, including listings, acquisitions, audits, budgets, cash management and various other stakeholder engagements.

In 2018, Marco embraced a new opportunity as the Chief Financial Officer of Arena Holdings, following a buyout. Here, he navigated a change in management and swiftly adapted to the dynamics of the media industry. In 2020, Marco took on the role of Chief Financial Officer at VATIT Group, where he spearheaded a comprehensive overhaul of the financial reporting process. He implemented robust controls to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records.

Beyond his professional endeavours, Marco is deeply committed to his family and values quality time spent with loved ones. An avid runner, he enjoys staying active and occasionally indulges in padel and tennis matches when time permits.

With his extensive background in finance and dedication to continuous improvement, Marco embodies excellence in both his professional and personal pursuits.
